hat an amazing year it’s turning out to be for 16-year-old squash starlet Elise Lazarus. In a previous Premier Security Consultant’s BLOG we told you about our sponsorship deal with the rising star of England squash and how she became the first British player for four years to reach the final of the prestigious British Junior Open, the world’s number one junior tournament.
Following that success Elise, from Woodford Green, won the English Junior title in Birmingham before helping England to the European Teams title in Portugal. And her amazing run of success continued last weekend when Elise was crowned British U23 champion after another impressive run of victories, this time at the Hunts Club in Cambridgeshire.
And there’s little respite for the young player who heads for Prague this week as part of the England team competing in the European U-17 Championships. We’ll keep you up to date with all her results. With luck, Elise will continue her sizzling run of form and cement her place in the England U-19 team for this year’s World Junior Championships in New Zealand.
